Mascoma River Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is a citizen's group of residents of the Mascoma River watershed seeking to improve protection for the river's valuable resources through designation under the Rivers Management and Protection Program. The members are working on an inventory of the river's resources and an outreach and education campaign on the nomination for such a designation.
Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission has received grant funding from the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services to assist the committee with its research and public outreach tasks.
