Sullivan County Municipal Transfer Station Evaluations

Project Summary:
Many transfer stations were constructed many years ago, and have since begun taking a greater variety of materials. This often leads to a need for rearranging the facility to make it more efficient for the materials currently taken.
Under a USDA grant for Sullivan County, the Commission hired consultant Patrick Pinkson-Burke to evaluate the transfer stations of interested towns. He visited the Acworth and the Charlestown facilities an made reports specific to each site.
