Sullivan County Solid Waste Leadership Forum
The Sullivan County Solid Waste Leadership Forum was formed to oversee two USDA grants received by the Commission to assist with community and regional solid waste management within Sullivan County. Meetings are held every other month to review the progress of goals to accomplish greater efficiencies in community solid waste. Spin-offs of the Leadership Forum are the Transfer Station Attendant Lunch Meetings held every other month to develop relationships between towns to learn about more efficient public services by roundtable discussions and tours of each others’ facilities.
