Upper Valley Household Hazardous Waste Committee
The Upper Valley Household Hazardous Waste Committee has existed for almost 30 years--for the last several years under the wing of the Commission. The Committee is a volunteer organization working to reduce harm to the environment and human health caused by the use and improper disposal of household hazardous waste in the Upper Valley. The Committee aims to:
- Educate the public to the dangers of household toxics
- Encourage the use of less hazardous products in the home
- Promote the proper disposal of household hazardous waste
- Support local agencies which reflect/promote our mission
