Project Summary:
The Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission (UVLSRPC) provided research and technical assistance to the Open Space/Subdivision Ordinance Advisory Committee(OSC) meetings from November 2009 through June 2010. The Commission Staff assisted with developing meeting agendas and assembling information.Follow-up services included post-meeting review of topics discussed by OSC and preparation of documents requested by City Staff. This pre- and post- meeting colaboration resulted in the creation of:
- Reviews and analysis reports,
- Model ordinances and other information for distribution to OSC members,
- Maps of existing conditions, GIS analyses and alternative development analyses,
- A summary report of proposed ordinance technical review
Finally the Commission assisted in organizing and executing three presentations to the Planning Board and to the general public via community access television. The presentations served as effective community forums and as public notice of the reagularly scheduled OSC meetings.
